Winter Club Learn to Skate is back! We invite you to Try the Ice!
Reserve your FREE ice time on Sunday, Sept. 26, 4:30–6 p.m. at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. You can learn more about ice skating, register for group lessons and learn how to get involved in this fantastic sport.
Winter Club Learn to Skate is coming back to Pop Weaver Youth Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds
Learn to Skate is a set of classes that meets once a week, for 4 weeks. Choose classes on Sundays or Thursdays (see below for details.) Cost per skater is $85. Each class includes:
- 30 minutes of group instruction, plus 30 minutes of practice
- Skate rental during Learn to Skate classes
- Free parking at Indiana State Fairgrounds during lesson time
- Holiday recital included in session II lessons- November-December
- Unlimited access to Public Skating sessions while enrolled in LTS- includes free skate rental!
Thursdays – October 7, 14, 21, 28 , 5:40-6:40 p.m.
Snowplow Sam (ages 3-5) 5:40-6:10 lessons, 6:10-6:40 practice
Basic 1, 2, 3 (beginners ages 6-14) 5:40-6:10 p.m. lessons, 6:10-6:40 p.m. practice
Basic 4, 5, 6; Pre-Free Skate -Free Skate 1-6; and Adult 1-6 (ages 15+)
5:40-6:10 practice, 6:10-6:40 lessons.
Sundays- October 3, 10, 17, 24, 4:30-6 p.m.
Snowplow Sam (ages 3-5) 4:30-5 lessons, 5-6 practice
Basic 1, 2, 3 (beginners ages 6-14) 4:30-5 lessons, 5-6 practice
Basic 4, 5, 6; Pre Free Skate -Free Skate 1-6; and Adult 1-6 (ages 15+)
5-5:30 lessons, practice 4:30-5 and 5:30-6
Team Time: Learn theatrical team skating skills (Basic 5-Intermediate, ages 7-17) 4:30-5:30 practice, 5:30-6 group lesson.
Test Prep: Work on skills needed for first U.S. Figure Skating moves in the field tests (must have passed Pre-Free Skate or Adult 6. Any age) 4:30-5:30 practice, 5:30-6 group lesson.
**Masks REQUIRED for all unvaccinated persons, strongly encouraged for everyone else**

LEARN TO SKATE group lessons begin in early October. Register here!
Group lessons are for children (3 and older), teens and adults. Our experienced instructors can take you from your first steps on the ice to advanced jumps and spins.
New times this season: Sundays 4:30-6pm. Thursdays 5:40-6:40pm.
New specialty classes: Team Time theatrical skating for youth Basic 5 and higher. Test Prep for kids and adults who have passed Basic 6. Check it out!
